Kemira Oyj completes the divestment of its coagulant business in Brazil

Kemira has completed the divestment of its Brazilian iron and aluminium

coagulant business to Bauminas. The deal was announced on November 29, 2013. 

The deal included coagulant business related assets, liabilities and personnel

of Kemira WaterSolutions Brazil Ltda and shares of Nheel Quimica Ltda as well as

its three coagulants manufacturing sites in Brazil (Rio Claro, Araporti and

Lages). 

Kemira is a global chemicals company serving customers in water-intensive

industries. We provide expertise and chemicals that improve our customers'

water, energy and raw material efficiency. Our focus is on pulp & paper, oil &
