Basware expands cooperation with major Swedish automotive manufacturer to provide catalog management and supplier onboarding services
Basware has expanded its cooperation with a major Swedish automotive manufacturer to provide catalog management services across more than 20 European countries. The services to be delivered include Basware Catalogs, portal services enabling suppliers to deliver their catalogs and supplier onboarding services for catalog creation. The value of the deal exceeds EUR 900,000 over three years. Implementation starts this quarter.
The customer has already deployed Basware's accounts payable and procurement solutions. Basware is running e-invoicing activation services for onboarding suppliers in the same countries where the new catalog services will now be implemented.

Basware's catalog management service will enable the customer to utilize electronic catalogs that cover both direct and indirect purchases. This service integrates to any ERP backend to provide a first class catalog import service that supports driving purchase process compliance and ensures negotiated savings against preferred supplier contracts are able to be realized", says Esa Tihilä, CEO, Basware Corporation.
