Metso will rebuild a complete crushing and screening plant for an aggregates producer Sablières Malet in Southern France. The new plant will replace an old plant destroyed in fire in 2012. The value of the order is approximately EUR 8 million.

When completed, the plant capacity will be 850 metric tons per hour. The new plant will be fed by trains from different deposits. The feeding capacity will be 1,200 metric tons per hour and it will produce different sized aggregates for road and concrete.

The supply consists of a complete plant including cone crushers, screens and conveyors. In addition to the equipment, the contract includes project management, on-site supervisory services for the installation and commissioning, and on-site training for the operating personnel.

The order is included in Mining and Construction's first quarter 2013 orders received. The delivery will be completed in early 2014.
