Skanska has secured a contract for reconstructing Sveavägen 44 in
Stockholm, Sweden. The contract value is SEK 750 M, which will be
included in order bookings for the third quarter.
The contract is a partnership agreement with the customer Diligentia and
encompasses an area of 54,000 square meters of office and retail space.
The project is an extension of a contract signed in 2009 and
reconstruction work on the property has already commenced.
The project has a green profile, and the aim is for it to achieve BREEAM
EXCELLENT certification (Building Research Establishment Environmental
Assessment Method), which is a British environmental classification
system for buildings.
