TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE MANUFACTURING-JOURNAL PORTAL

§ 1. General provisions

  1. These Terms and Conditions define the rules for using the Manufacturing-Journal internet portal available at www.manufacturing-journal.net.
  2. The operator and publisher of the Manufacturing-Journal portal is:

  2. The Manufacturing-Journal portal is an informational, editorial, promotional and business-oriented platform. The portal may publish, in particular, articles, press materials, editorial content, interviews, company profiles, sponsored materials, advertisements and other content related to the economy, industry, manufacturing, business and the promotion of enterprises.
  3. Use of the portal constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions within the scope relating to the use of the service.

§ 2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:

  1. Portal or Service – the Manufacturing-Journal internet portal available at www.manufacturing-journal.net.
  2. Operator or Publisher – Z-MEDIA, as identified in § 1 section 2.
  3. User – any person using the portal.
  4. Content – all materials published on the portal, including texts, graphics, photographs, logos, advertising materials, press materials, interviews, articles, commercial information and other elements of the service.
  5. Sponsored Material – content prepared, published or promoted as part of commercial, promotional or advertising cooperation.

§ 3. Rules for using the portal

  1. The User may use the portal only in a manner consistent with the law, good practice, these Terms and Conditions and the intended purpose of the service.
  2. It is prohibited to provide or transmit through the portal any unlawful content, content infringing the rights of third parties, good practice, copyright, industrial property rights, personal rights or the interests of the Operator.
  3. It is prohibited to undertake any actions that may disrupt the functioning of the portal, including attempts to gain unauthorised access to IT systems, automated data collection in a manner that excessively burdens the service, introduction of malicious software or circumvention of technical security measures.
  4. The Operator may temporarily restrict access to the portal for technical, organisational, security, maintenance-related reasons or for reasons beyond the Operator’s control.
  5. The Operator makes efforts to ensure that the information published on the portal is reliable and up to date. However, content published on the portal is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, tax, investment, financial or other specialist advice.

§ 4. Editorial, advertising and sponsored content

  1. The portal may publish its own content, content prepared by partners, press materials, sponsored materials, advertisements, interviews and company presentations.
  2. Sponsored, promotional or advertising materials may be marked in a manner allowing their identification in accordance with the nature of a given publication.
  3. The Operator shall not be liable for the truthfulness, completeness or accuracy of information provided by third parties, in particular advertisers, partners, authors of press materials or company representatives, if such content has been published on the basis of information received from those entities.
  4. The entity providing materials for publication declares that it holds the rights to use such materials and that their publication does not infringe any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark rights, image rights, trade secrets or personal rights.
  5. The Operator reserves the right to refuse publication, edit, shorten or remove any material if its content violates the law, good practice, these Terms and Conditions, the interests of the Operator or may mislead recipients.

§ 5. Copyright

  1. Content available on the portal, including texts, graphics, photographs, website layout, graphic marks, logos and other elements, may constitute works protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights.
  2. The use of the portal’s content is permitted only for personal use, unless legal provisions provide otherwise or the Operator has granted prior consent for other use.
  3. Copying, distributing, modifying, publishing, commercially using or further sharing the portal’s content without the consent of the authorised entity is prohibited, unless it takes place within the limits of permitted use provided for by law.
  4. Company names, trademarks, logos and other designations of third parties published on the portal belong to their respective owners and are used solely for informational, editorial, promotional or advertising purposes.

§ 6. Contact forms and communication with the Operator

  1. The portal may enable contact with the Operator via email, contact forms or other communication tools.
  2. When sending a message to the Operator, the User should provide only true data necessary to handle the enquiry.
  3. The Operator may contact the User in order to respond to an enquiry, handle correspondence, provide information regarding cooperation, publication, advertising or other services related to the portal’s activities.
  4. Detailed rules for the processing of personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy of the Manufacturing-Journal portal.

§ 7. Liability

  1. The Operator shall not be liable for interruptions in the operation of the portal resulting from technical reasons, maintenance, failures, actions of external service providers or events beyond the Operator’s control.
  2. The Operator shall not be liable for the consequences of the User’s use of information published on the portal in a manner inconsistent with its purpose, the law or the principles of due diligence.
  3. The portal may contain links to websites of third parties. The Operator shall not be responsible for the content, privacy policies or practices applied by the owners of such websites.
  4. The User shall be responsible for the content, data and materials provided to the Operator, in particular for their compliance with the law and for ensuring that they do not infringe the rights of third parties.

§ 8. Complaints and contact

  2. The notification should include a description of the matter and contact details enabling a response to be provided.
  3. The Operator shall take steps to review the notification within a reasonable period, no longer than 14 business days from the date of receipt, unless the nature of the matter requires a longer period.

§ 9. Amendments to the Terms and Conditions

  1. The Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, in particular in the event of changes in legal provisions, changes in the functionality of the portal, or organisational, technical or business changes.
  2. The current version of the Terms and Conditions is published on the portal.
  3. Continued use of the portal after publication of amendments constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions in their current wording.

§ 10. Final provisions

  1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by Polish law.
  2. In matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the relevant provisions of Polish law shall apply.
  3. These Terms and Conditions shall apply from the date of their publication on www.manufacturing-journal.net.
