Sprint Electric, a world leading manufacturer of drives for industrial motor control, is delighted to announce the appointment of Vivek Khistariya as Test and Validation Engineer.
Vivek will be based at the Sprint Electric technology centre within the University of Nottingham. With extensive experience in power train testing at automotive OEMs, Vivek will provide invaluable input to the design validation process for a new range of regenerative, energy-saving drives being developed by Sprint Electric.
Vivek brings a wealth of automotive engineering, and test and validation experience to this role. He spent time working as a Senior Engineer Test and Electronics at a British automotive engineering firm, leading teams on product requirement definition and change management programmes. Before this role, Vivek held the position of Facilities Engineer Engine Test for a company specialising in automotive research and test services.
Mark Gardiner, joint Managing Director at Sprint Electric and responsible for managing the technology development partnership with University of Nottingham, said:
